How to glue a self-adhesive wallpaper

Glue the self-adhesive film to a smoothsurface. Best of all, these wallpapers are held on laminated, wooden, paper, painted surfaces. If there is still a need to decorate the plastered wall, it should be pre-primed beforehand. On the other surfaces, self-adhesive wallpaper can be glued without preparation, which makes repairs much faster. Sufficiently dense wallpaper does not even require a preliminary leveling of the wall - the film simply stretches and even itself aligns it.

It is important to glue self-adhesive wallpaper without airbubbles. Unlike paper, the film does not let air in, so they will remain when the glue dries. It is most convenient to start from the bottom, gradually separating the protective paper and smoothing the surface with a roller. In no case should not immediately expose the entire adhesive layer - there is a high probability of gluing the wallpaper between themselves and other unnecessary surfaces. If the bubbles still arise, they need to be pierced with a very thin needle and carefully ironed with a roller.

For work with smooth, not afraid of moistureSoapy water can be used for surfaces (ceramic tiles, plastic, oil paint). It should be sprayed on the wall, then apply wallpaper, and the moisture allows you to move them over the surface, choosing the right position. Then the water will dry and the wallpaper will stick together tightly. Sometimes it becomes necessary to glue the wallpaper on curved surfaces. Vinyl film can be slightly stretched, heating with a hair dryer.
